ABOUT US

proPassion Communications is born out of the philosophy of experiential learning that is learning through handling and executing industry projects. Knowledge is no longer confined in the traditional classroom but is gained from experience of participating in the projects.

 

Academically experiential learning can be a strong teaching and learning method. Learners gain knowledge through working collaboratively as a team on projects and also acquire invaluable insights and feedback from experienced professionals in the industry.

 

It is proPassion’s hope that there will be a win-win situation for both students and industry; as students gain knowledge and industry acquire creative and innovative ideas.

 

Under this module, students are led and mentored by advisor and lecturer of School of Communications, Mr. Winston Lim.

 

proPassion first started in 2008 as a Public Relations project under the Diploma in Communications program. They have organized successful events and worked with local and international clients such as Sukhita Thai Spa, DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd, MyPartners, Star Asia Malaysia, F3 Capital Sdn Bhd, Dutch Lady Milk Industries (DLMI) Malaysia, Encorp Strand Mall and Big Fish Media Sdn Bhd, Wellness Concept (M) Sdn Bhd, and Carousell.

ProPassion won in the category of "Institute of Higher Learning" at the Malaysian PR Awards 2016 ceremony for their campaign Shopee Spree for our client Shopee Mobile Malaysia.
